Alumni and Friends of Belmont High School, Inc. (AFBHS) is the official alumni organization of Belmont High School (BHS). We were formed in October 2007 with the goal to establish a permanently endowed scholarship fund for the benefit of BHS students pursuing further education and in need of financial aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In its early years AFBHS presented an annual check for $10,000 to BHS to be used to give four $2,500 scholarships. In 2022 the check increased to $32,000 for eight $4,000 scholarships. The awards go to outstanding college-bound seniors who need financial help to further their education.  The recipients are selected by a committee of teachers and administrators at BHS to on the basis of both outstanding accomplishment and financial need.         <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year, as well, we have been able to add significantly to a General Endowment Fund in order to achieve an ability, in the future, to provide permanent and even more substantial scholarship aid.\u00a0 Please help us spread the word by telling your classmates and friends about us.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
